Our Product Concept

With our products, we aim for more than just short-term effects. We want your skin to improve long-term. The active ingredients sustainably balance skin imperfections and ensure timeless beauty. To achieve this, we work with active ingredients that are as natural and effective as possible. We combine these in various ways to create formulations that suit all skin types and always remain well-tolerated.

We know exactly where our active ingredients come from and how they are processed. Our aspiration is that all our products contain at least 95% raw materials of natural origin, thus achieving an NOI value of over 0.95. This value indicates when cosmetic ingredients are natural-based. For the preparation of active ingredients, we rely on fermentation and upcycling processes. This allows us to increase the number of nutrients and antioxidants in our products while remaining very well-tolerated by the skin. We deliberately avoid irritating preservatives, drying alcohols, microplastics, silicones, and parabens.

The selection and combination of our ingredients are based on scientific findings and benefits. Therefore, we use scientifically proven ingredients in all our NICOLETTE products, as well as innovative formulations. The various hyaluronic acids used in our products are derived from current developments and unfold product-specific effects. Depending on the product and the needs of your skin, the hyaluronic acid modification used can achieve moisturizing, smoothing, firming, or many other effects.

Our products are mildly formulated and tested for their compatibility with various skin types. By selecting high-quality, exclusive, yet natural ingredients, we know the composition and origin of each active ingredient and combine them carefully to provide your skin with the best possible care.

We are aware of our responsibility for the environment and therefore rely on environmentally friendly and resource-saving production of our products. We use the "Circular Beauty" approach, which stipulates a closed loop for obtaining our raw materials. The aim is to reduce resource waste by obtaining ingredients from waste and by-products of the food industry or by generating new active ingredients through their fermentation.

From the active ingredient components to the packaging, our products consist of Swiss raw materials. Especially with our ingredients, we make sure to use regional resources. For example, we obtain the extract of our main active ingredient, butterfly bush, from the Swiss Alps. The butterfly bush extract is certified as an organic extract by recognized organizations such as Ecocert, Cosmos, and NaTure, and comes from a Fairtrade certified cultivation in Valais, where the air is pure and the water is crystal clear.

Our products offer more than just a great experience for your skin. They are also infused with a unique fragrance, which we developed together with a renowned Swiss perfumer and winner of the «Art and Olfaction» award. The creative fragrance creation is tested for skin compatibility and is non-irritating. It gives NICOLETTE an unmistakable brand scent that will surely stay in your memory.
