In what order should the products be used?
In general, it is recommended to apply products in the order from water-soluble and thin to fat-soluble and thick. However, it is important to take individual differences in skin's storage capacity into account. Not everyone can absorb many products at once. If a product is not fully absorbed even after a long wait, this indicates that the skin may no longer be able to absorb it. In this case, you may want to skip a step or reduce the amount of products.
How long do the products last?
Our products have a minimum shelf life of 24 months as long as they remain unopened. Once opened, we recommend that you use them within 12 months. Under optimal conditions, i.e. in a relatively dark room without major temperature fluctuations and protected from contamination, they can also be used beyond this period.
Why do our products not contain parabens and silicones?
When manufacturing our cosmetic and skin care products, we attach great importance to ensuring that they are free of silicones and parabens. We want to ensure that our products are not only effective, but also safe and skin-friendly for our customers. By using natural preservation methods and ingredients, we can not only avoid skin irritations and allergic reactions, but also help to reduce the burden on the environment.
Are NICOLETTE products vegan?
Our products are free from animal ingredients. Instead, we use innovative formulations and high-quality plant-based ingredients to create products that are both effective and ethical.
Can your products be used on sensitive skin?
Our products are suitable for sensitive skin. We use gentle formulations and natural ingredients that soothe the skin and do not irritate it.
Are your products packaged in an environmentally friendly way?
We strive to use environmentally friendly packaging solutions to reduce our carbon footprint. We use recyclable materials and minimize the use of plastic wherever possible.
Butterfly bush is invasive. Why is it used in NICOLETTE products?
Although the butterfly bush (Buddleja davidii) is considered an invasive plant in Switzerland, our version does not pose a threat. It is grown organically under strict Bio Inspecta and Fair Trade guidelines, preventing uncontrolled spread. Through these sustainable cultivation methods, we protect the environment, support local farmers and guarantee the high quality of the plant, which provides valuable active ingredients for the care of your skin.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs vary depending on the delivery address and the shipping options you select during the order process. The exact shipping costs will be shown to you at checkout before you complete your order. We strive to offer fair and transparent shipping costs so that you know exactly what to expect.
Which countries does NICOLETTE ship to?
We currently only ship to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. We are working on expanding our service to other countries in the future. If you have any questions about shipping options to these countries, we will be happy to help you.
How are NICOLETTE products packaged?
Our packaging is of high quality and designed to be sustainable and protects our products as best as possible during transport. We ensure that the packaging is produced locally and in an environmentally friendly manner, in Winterthur.

In which cases can I return/exchange my products?
We will exchange your product if it...
a) ...arrives damaged.
In this case, please send us a picture of the damaged item to shop@nicolette-cosmetic.com. Once we receive proof, we will process your request as quickly as possible so that we can send you a new, undamaged item.
b) ...arrives to you defectively.
We classify goods as faulty if they arrive damaged or if a manufacturing fault is discovered within 14 days of purchase. Items are not considered faulty if the condition is due to normal wear and tear. In this case we cannot accept any responsibility.
